Conflict Minerals Policy

Chang Yi Shin (CYS) is deeply committed to corporate responsibility and the respect of human rights. As part of this commitment, Chang Yi Shin (CYS) ensures that its sourcing practices do not contribute to the funding of armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries. This applies specifically to tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold, collectively referred to as “3TG” or “conflict minerals.”

To uphold this commitment, Chang Yi Shin (CYS) requests its suppliers to take the following actions with regard to the products, components, and materials they provide to Chang Yi Shin (CYS):

1. Ensure that 3TG used in your products are not sourced from conflict regions.
2. Establish and maintain robust procedures to trace the origin of 3TG in your supply chain.
3. Formally communicate the requirement for the restricted use of conflict minerals to your upstream suppliers.
4.  Submit the latest Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) to
Chang Yi Shin (CYS) upon request and provide a detailed smelter list to ensure full accountability and compliance with the latest requirements.

Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please contact your Chang Yi Shin (CYS) sales support team.
